Based on our recent business interaction, we would exercise caution. This individual contacted our insurance agency looking for a specialized type of coverage. Because we could not place that particular risk directly, we connected her with another insurance resource that might be able to help. She later posted multiple negative statements about our company that, in our opinion, materially misrepresented what occurred and incorrectly characterized a normal commercial insurance referral as something improper. Everyone is entitled to share their experience, but professionals should also make a reasonable effort to understand the facts before publicly criticizing another business. Clear communication, accuracy, and professionalism matter—especially when dealing with clients and other service providers.
