WARNING TO POTENTIAL TENANTS: This landlord is dishonest. NM law requires a security deposit to be returned within 30 days, we waited 6 weeks. Out of the $600 deposit, we were returned $14 without any description of what the money was actually used for. We left the home in the same shape as when we began renting and I have the pictures to prove it. Since NM law requires the deposit to be returned within 30 days, Rowe Legacy thought it clever to mark the check date as being over 1 month earlier, but the post mark was more than 30 days after the date on that check. Moreover, the date on the check precedes a string of text messages that we still have, where the owner, Dan Rowe, states that he cannot issue the deposit refund because he hasn't received the bills from his vendors yet. How can Dan sign a check before he knows what the deposit needs to be spent on? This man lies. His staff lies. And this wasn't the only situation we experienced dishonesty during our rental. Go somewhere else

Dan Rowe purchased a home from me. Before the funds were transferred to me, and according to the title company before they received the funds, and prior to the agreed upon date of occupation he sent a work crew over to evict the tenants 4 days prematurely. He had a lock smith show up and change the locks. He never should have had his contractors touch the property, let alone lock out the tenant prior to the agreed upon date. He has never answered my calls. I suggest that anyone considering selling a property not do business with Dan Rowe. I would not trust Dan Rowe in any transaction.
