Dana L Wingate

Dana Wingate moved to Asheville in 2002 to enjoy the wonderful quality of life offered here. She is delighted to have the experience of being able to raise her now high school aged son in Asheville. Dana has been a caterer, middle and high school English and Drama teacher and marketing director for a Florida college. Part of her background includes obtaining a Bachelor's degree in English and a Masters in English Literature. Volunteering in the education arena is one way that she is able to continue that passion and serving others. She also does volunteer work with a non-profit program, Iron Girls, Inc. As an avid cross fitter, this is a way for her to share her love for health and fitness while helping adolescent girls by empowering them through fitness and guiding and encouraging them through social pressures they face.
