Daniel Smith

I chose Daniel Smith to be my agent because he went the extra measure to determine the details about the property I wanted to sell. He spent two days at the city finding out about the zoning, development implications, etc. He then listed and sold the property. I asked him to help me find another property to purchase and he has expended great effort to help me find a property that meets my needs. Since we have seen so many properties together, I consider him more than just an agent. He has become a friend. The value of this is just priceless.

When my girlfriend and I were looking for a house we originally only looked at town homes. Dan worked with us to find the best home, and also gave us an alternative route. He suggested that we purchase a duplex and rent out the adjacent unit. We talked about the idea and concluded that it would be a good long term investment. At first we weren't sure if we could even qualify for the loan, but Dan put us in contact with the lenders he works with and we got pre-approved fast. If we ever buy another house in the future or sell we'll for sure go with Dan again. He's very helpful in explaining things that might be hard to understand, gives you good advice, has experience, responds back to you quickly, and has helpful connections.

Daniel really helped me out. I had a neighbor on the same street with the same model house as mine, but who was apparently under financial pressure and priced his house well below market value, trying to get a quick sale. When I received an offer on my house, the offer came in a whopping $50K below asking price. Daniel negotiated on my behalf and got the potential buyer to submit another offer. That offer came in exactly $50K above their initial offer and exactly on target at my asking price! Wonderful communicator, terrific negotiator -- I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel.

Dan was so helpful to us in the process of buying a new house. His knowledge of the process itself and also general things to look for in a new house was very valuable. Also, as first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and he was always patient and good humored.

As an investor himself, he understands the cost trade offs for specific features of a home and how to price a home correctly to get the most value for the house quickly. He also did a great job negotiating with the buyers when issues arose to maximize my profit.
