When I was a kid, I'd ride my bike through the SW hills of Portland, finding houses mid-construction and climbing around inside to figure out how each space would eventually work. I loved architecture. I loved exploring different neighborhoods. And I could imagine myself living in every single type of home - I couldn't pick just one style. I wanted to experience it all. Over the years, I've lived in all four quadrants of Portland, so I know this city, not just one neighborhood. Twenty-three years into this work, that's still what drives me.
