Daryl and Laurie Chrispen

Hi, my name is Linda. I live in Illinois. In April of 2018 my brother James passed away. He lived in Buena Park, CA. A couple of days after his service, a lady by the name of Laurie Chrispen stopped by my brothers home. She tole me she was a realtor for Remax and would be happy to be of service to me if I was going to sell his home. I told her I would get in contact with her. She was very nice and offered her condolences to our family. Before I left California, she wrote up a quick review of what might be helpful and arranged for a lady to call if I needed to have an estate sale.It took 9 months to be made a trustee of his estate. I contacted Laurie and we talked for a couple of weeks until I was able to make arrangements to come out there. Im 68 years old and not in the best of health. I needed to have a travel companion to take me everywhere I needed to go. She said she would get a crew of people for me to remodel his home. Laurie had us picked up at the train station and took us to AVIS car rental. She had a list of hotels for me. She was kind and thoughtful doing this for us, all before a contract was signed.There were several men living in my brothers home and refused to leave. We offered them keys for cash and they refused. I was at a loss of what to do. Laurie immediately found an eviction attorney for me. The men tried to fight the case and lost, but the process took another 6 weeks. We were losing time and money. But true to her word, Laurie got a crew together with estimates of time and cost for me to review. We had carpet layers, wood floors, painting, swimming pool repair, electricians, plumbers, yard maintainer, and clean-up crew and estate sale. Laurie overlooked their work and made suggestions on my behalf. Everyone did a fabulous job. I was so grateful to her. The house was on the market for 10 days, and sold.I cant begin to tell you everything she did for me. I know she went beyond the call of duty, stayed in constant contact, made suggestions, got death certificates, picked up papers at my attorneys, used her office to fax things while I was in town. She never made you feel as if you were incompetent to handle your own business. Her office staff is very kind and competent, especially Valerie.To sum this up, I would like to say I was truly blessed when Laurie Chrispen from Remax of Cypress stepped into my life. This woman will make you smile every day. She is the most hard-working person I have ever met. She makes you feel like you are a friend, not a client. Laurie is very honest, sweet, kind, and humble. Working with Laurie was wonderful. She is professional and knowledgeable regarding the things buyers are looking for especially in Buena Park. With Laurie's help, we sold my mother's house in 6 days. Laurie was very extremely helpful throughout the whole process, listing and escrow. Valerie, Laurie's assistant and transaction coordinator, was professional and was wonderful to work with as well. This is a long review; however, I think it's important to understand what you are getting when you choose a quality Real Estate Professional. I have known Daryl for a very long time - Since I was a kid. I've watched him build relationships and a successful business. I paid close attention over the years. I've studied how he works. I've spoken to individuals that he has helped. There was never any doubt in my mind whom I would choose to help sell our family home. Two years ago, my mother passed. For a year and ten months, her home sat vacant. I work a lot of hours and rarely had more than an hour on the weekends to get anything done. I wasn't even sure how to get the process started. Laurie was kind, friendly, respectful, professional, and very intelligent. She knows exactly what she is doing. Again, I was stunned. The process of selling the home began immediately and moved quickly. I purposely stepped back and just watched. There was little that I had to do. One other thing to think about when choosing someone to sell your home - Their contacts. What else do you get with your agent? Daryl and Laurie bring a powerful network of individuals along with them. I can't say enough good things about their contractor that helped put the finishing touches on the home. Laurie also brought in a team to help organize and hold an estate sale. They were outstanding. The staff at the Real Estate Office was excellent. Valerie in particular deserves some recognition. She was friendly, helpful, and provided valuable support. Finally, let's talk about money. If you work with quality people, everything else will take care of itself. That's what happened. The home sold for top dollar.

It was great working with Laurie and her team. We met with her, put our house up for sale, got an offer and moved out of in just 9 weeks! She made the selling experience easy as can be. Explaining things as you go along and everything was approached with our wants and concerns addressed. I highly recommend!

We recently sold our house. Prior to listing the house I analyzed our options. For sale by owner,discount brokers or full service Realtors. After our interviews we selected Daryl and Laurie Chrispen. You couldnt ask for any better Realtors. They are very knowledgeable in every aspect. What ever needed to be done they took care of it. Any questions or calls they responded immediately. When you spoke with them it was like talking to a good friend, not just a Realtor. We have great admiration and respect for them and their amazing staff. Dealing with the memories of loved ones, their personal possessions and the family home is very difficult and overwhelming. When I met Laurie, her warm personality, understanding and compassion made me so comfortable to work with her. She took ALOT of the stress off of me and helped me realize that it was time to move on. Laurie always deferred to me as to my wants and needs, yet she took charge and represented us. Laurie was our realtor, but we quickly formed a friendship that I know will last a lifetime. You would be lucky to have her in your corner. She knows the housing market and the areas. My parents' home sold very quickly with multiple offers and back up offers. I am so thankful to her. Daryl and Laurie Chrispen have been our neighborhood realtors as long as I can remember, and "our only realtors" as far as our family is concerned. Their knowledge of all areas is remarkable. Daryl and Laurie have been my realtors for over 20 years - so professional and great to work with! My Family had 2 properties to sell and we we're recommended to Laurie via a friend and she did NOT disappoint! Having a hectic job, I rely on people that are responsive and can communicate via text & email. Laurie was ALWAYS on top of things. Constantly updating me on things and was SUPER easy to work with.
