He gave us initial and then updated information (as the local market changed) about trends and what to expect. Where no established "here's what to expect in the home buying process in North Carolina" document existed, he created one for us so we could understand the ways things work (and don't). When the seller's dragged their feet, he kept things moving. Without Dave's calm and reassuring presence, we would have walked away and probably still be renting! WE LOVE DAVE! He made this whole process smooth and not stressful at all! My husband and I thought we would just go talk to someone to see if we could even get approved for a mortgage and 2 weeks later we were putting an offer in on the 2nd house we went to look at! Dave listened to what we were looking for and took us to the houses we found online along with some others he found for us. Going to look at the houses was the most fun and he had a great sense of humor about the "not so good houses." Whenever we had questions he was very prompt in answering us or at least to let us know he would find the answer soon. His network of people are all great as well, if he recommends someone (inspector, roof repairman, mortgage lenders, etc..) use them! He is professional but makes you feel so comfortable that its like your just hanging out with a friend =)
