The following experience says everything about how Houwzer is deeply dedicated, professional, and distinct from other brokerage firms. During the blizzard of January 22nd 2016, which dropped 2 feet of snow that Saturday on Philadelphia, Dave Speers with Houwzer spent the entire day showing my wife and I houses we were interested in. My wife and I live and work in NYC, and that day was the only day we could spend in Philly looking at houses that week. Our broker was out in Fishtown with my wife and I, for 6+ hours, tromping through the blizzard showing us homes for sale. I'm sure he was the only broker in Philadelphia showing clients homes that day. Though my wife and I already felt that Dave legitimately had our backs throughout our entire home buying process, with all of his emails, texts, calls, his negotiating acumen and constant diligence - the experience of that day stands out. Not to mention his exhaustive knowledge of each block of Philadelphia - he was able to give a run down on each block's own process of redevelopment, safety, schools, and nearby places to go. He also took us to Loco Pez just as it was getting dark that day of the blizzard, which was a nice cherry on top. Ultimately he secured for us the house of our dreams at a better than hoped for price.
