We would not recommend Devon as a transaction broker, or any other agent as she cannot be trusted to maintain her word or look at all emails and communications. We were the potential buyers...either the seller or Devon lied, deceived, and hid information about the property throughout the failed transaction. She was supposed to assist both sides equally and fairly, and this entire experience felt completely one-sided to us. First, the seller didn't even own the property outright, then there were conspicuously blank disclosure documents (late), lawsuits, county violations, and trash dumped throughout the property that were all dismissed as inconsequential and never fully absolved. The final straw was the ILC: we agreed to pay for the ILC as long as the sale went through. We have this in writing, though no amendment was ever drawn and this communication was 'lost and never received' per Devon, we stated this every time the ILC came up with Devon and the Title Company, even the night before the deal fell apart Devon told us she would and I QUOTE "Make it right" with the ILC....we send her the invoice and her response is "good luck". She does not stand by her word, plays favorites, and backtracks when called out on it. We wasted time with Devon and Colorado Mountain Reality due to the lack of professionalism. Steer clear.
