I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have worked with Dianne Melvin on helping me sell my current home and purchase a new home in Phoenixville. From the very beginning, Dianne was on top of EVERYTHING. She went above and beyond, even agreed to meet me at my home in the late evening (I don't get home from work until after 9pm) for our initial sit down to talk about my time line, preferences, budget, school districts etc. She was very receptive to my needs when looking for my new home. I also loved how Dianne didn't rush or pressure me into a purchase, she actually kept me from making a purchase out of haste. She was always available and answered all my text messages,emails or phone calls within minutes (even when she was on vacation)! After searching for townhouses (late summer 2019), we found a great house and I made my offer. With her assistance, I was able to purchase my new houme (below asking price) and she helped me tackle the pile of paperwork and logistics associated with the purchase, HOA , mortgages and taxes. She even met with the home inspector when I was at work AND handled all communications and prep before the closing while I was out of the country. WHEW! I 100% couldn't have done any of this without Dianne and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone and everyone, not only for her real estate expertise but because she is truly an amazing person! Unfortunately, due to market circumstances, I purchaded and moved into my new home before selling my original home. Dianne never wavered in her positivity and encouragement that my original home would sell for or above asking price….. and she was right. I was struggling with owning 2 homes and Dianne did everything in her power to make sure my house would sell. She had many open houses, brokers opens, promoted it thoroughly online and followed up with phone calls to every realtor who viewed the home over the entire time the house was on the market. She was there to help me with literally every aspect of selling the house… helped me book/rebook movers (my original movers accidentally canceled my job the day before the move and Dianne found and booked new movers for me in less than 12 hours) , finding donation centers (for unwanted furniture), cleaning services, lawn care, staging the home and 1 million other things that I never thought to do. Then finally, we had approved buyers and everything was set for an early April 2020 settlement….. until Covid-19. I was beside myself when she called me to tell me Real Estate was not considered an essential business and nobody knew if the closing could happen. She kept me informed daily about what the Pennsylvania Realtors Association and the National Realtors Association were doing to remedy situations like mine. Miraculously we had settlement before the original closing date and everything went smoothly! Not even a pandemic can slow this superwoman down! Dianne Melvin is the most understanding, compassionate, professional and competent realtor I have ever worked with. Thank you Dianne!
