Doretta Smith

Named 2018 Realtor of the Year, Doretta has been helping buyers and sellers for over 15 years. She is co-owner and principal broker at Martek Real Estate in Newport, Oregon. She has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation and ePRO certification from the National Association of REALTORS. She is past president of the Lincoln County Board of REALTORS and current Board member, member of Rotary Club of Newport, and member of Altrusa of Yaquina Bay. She currently sits on the Yaquina Bay Brownfields Advisory Committee. Doretta also has been finalist for Rookie of the Year at the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS and is an Honor Society Member. Doretta has years of experience in residential sales, commercial sales and leasing, and land acquisition projects. Prior to entering the real estate field in 2003, she was a business owner/manager of computer software development firms. In 2001 she had a fun-filled year of working for the Salt Lake Winter Olympics which she says was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
