We had a great home buying and selling experience with Doug as our realtor. I believe he went above and beyond for us. We were in an extremely competitive market, so we needed to be intense about our search. Doug was right there with us, sending us new listings, ideas, scheduling showings, and drive by's. Ultimately, Doug's network led to our home purchase- we heard about a new listing through an agent he had a relationship with. That was very valuable because we were able to make an offer early. I've heard many unfortunate stories of people having difficulties with their real estate agent, and I am so happy to say we're not one of those people! Doug is phenomenal, not only at what he does, but who he is. We were first time homebuyers, so we had a ton of questions, hesitations, and frustrations. The thought of buying a house had been in the back of our minds for years. Without thinking this could actually be a reality, we never took the time to do the research or prepare ourselves for what to expect during the process. Once we found out that we could actually have our own home and stop throwing money away on renting, we hopped to it! I, the overly excited wife, went with the first realtor that we came across. Our experience wasn't terrible, she was a very nice person, but it wasn't long before house hunting felt like a chore. We began to wonder if it was worth it. ...then my husband, the "logic hound," found Doug online. There was no question that he put us at the top of his priority list and even though we knew he had to have other clients, we never felt for one minute like we weren't important! Doug was referred to us by a friend who also worked with him to purchase their home. We are fairly new to Nashville, as such, his understanding of the local market, neighborhoods and construction climate was profoundly helpful in informing our decisions. Doug was tenacious during the search sending us thoughtful listings that met our criteria and maintained a sense of humor as we visited and scrutinized each property. He was patient as we debated the pros and cons and always willing to show us yet another listing. During the purchase process he advised and advocated for what was in our best interest and was always happy to "go the extra mile". I had a great experience working with Doug. My situation was unique in that I was a worried mom in NJ because my 25 year old son was moving to Nashville for work and he only had a short time frame to find a place that was safe and affordable. As soon as I reached out with questions, many realtors contacted me wanting to help with the transition. I immediately took a liking to Doug over the phone. He has a very positive outlook and was extremely knowledgeable with the area and really understood and listened to my concerns. He also didn't mind my thousand questions about listed properties and helped me to navigate all the listings. I had confidence that he would stear my son in the right direction. Mother's instincts are always right!!! We flew to Nashville and Doug had our search organized and was able to quickly get us into last minute listings. My son found a fabulous place within 2 days. Doug remains available to speak to us and continues to help my son navigate the process as this is his first home. He has even offered to do his walk through remotely so my son wouldn't have to fly in to do it. My son has since thanked me for finding such a great relator. As a first time home buyer, Doug went above and beyond my expectations of a realtor! He guided us through every step in the process and answered all of our many questions. He is honest and upfront and I feel always had our best interest in mind. He was always available either via phone, text or email. He is well connected in the community and had recommendations for inspectors, mortgage brokers, home insurance companies, etc. And when I called those companies to request their services, they had nothing but good things to say about Doug when I mentioned he recommended them to me.Moving from out of state, we relied on his knowledge of the different Nashville neighborhoods to pare down where we wanted to look. We walked through at least a dozen homes and during that time, I appreciated that he wasn't on his phone, checking his email, taking multiple calls from the office or other clients - I felt like his priority was helping me find the perfect home.Doug offered his guidance on how to make a strong offer and because of it, we got our first choice house and beat out other bids! We don't want to think about selling our new house just yet, but when we get there in a few years, we know we already want Doug and his expertise on our side as a seller!

Having dealt with numerous realtors in the past it was a REAL pleasure dealing with Doug. Trying to sell our home in Spring Hill, FL while attempting to find a home in the Spring Hill, TN area was a challenge. Just when we thought we had secured a home...new build... it fell through for several reasons outside of our control due to the builder. Our Florida home sold within 9 days,,, we had to find a rental that would accept 4 small dogs while trying to find a home in TN. The stress was building and we almost gave up as the homes here sold darn fast after listing. Doug, one to never give up, called and said he had a possible home, brand new, that was not yet listed. He wanted us to check it out so we had our daughter step in for us...what a blessing! Doug found us a home that met our needs and wants. His persistence, professionalism and most importantly his friendship was above and beyond. We cannot thank Doug enough...as he is like family now.
