Florida real estate has a long and well-deserved reputation for shady dealings, but Dr Avron White is a shining beacon of ethical practice and professionalism. Having lived outside the US for 20 years, I was a "babe in the woods" in the Florida market. Avron provided excellent support for the purchase of my beautiful new home. He listened carefully to my specific requirements and more impressionistic dreams and helped me find the perfect property in just the right community well within my budget. I relied heavily on his very impressive knowledge of neighborhoods in South Florida, ranging from Fort Lauderdale to Fort Pierce. He walked me through every step of the home-buying process and provided expert guidance on all aspects. His research on comparable properties helped me negotiate a great price that provided fair value for the seller as well. Service providers associated with Avron's real estate agency offered excellent, no obligation, advice on matters such as mortgages and insurance. After closing, Avron went above and beyond the call of duty when the settlement company (NOT associated with his agency) suddenly contacted me directly and demanded that I pay several hundred dollars in additional fees for "errors" at settlement. Avron immediately intervened on my behalf to seek an explanation. We never got a straight answer from them -- it all seemed very fishy -- and they eventually agreed that any errors were their responsibility. I was very impressed with Avron's genuine outrage at what seemed to be a gross procedural violation on their part. He saved me a few hundred dollars but, more important than that, his very high ethical standards gave me confidence that I was safe from any unscrupulous actors. I cannot praise him highly enough
