Ed Mccarthy

In 2001 Ed graduated from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Real Estate School earning an MBA degree with a real estate concentration. By graduation Ed had joined NAI Hiffman, and over his 4 years there he worked on the office brokerage team and investment sales teams. Ed then moved and subsequently spent almost 7 years with Jones Lang LaSalle, the second largest commercial real estate services company in the world. Ed’s role as a consultant to HSBC and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe gave him the opportunity to work on many high profile and complex transactions. Starting in early 2012- Ed made the decision to join his wife Nellie and work together in residential real estate brokerage full time- and together they started the Nellie McCarthy Group. Together they have built a highly recognizable brand in the Western Suburbs of Chicago- and continue to grow each year.
