We were connected with Eileen through a trusted agent in NYC. We asked her about someone else who had been recommended and she did some digging and found Eileen for us, instead, and what a find! Eileen made suggestions about preparing our house for the market, how best to price and list it. She was friendly and always available and she knows EVERYBODY who does ANYTHING you need, including (but not limited to) zoning issues to repairs to painting to carrying away good stuff and junk and charity donations. Eileen had previously helped my son purchase a home; therefore, when I decided to sell my home, I contacted Eileen. She took the time to answer ALL of my questions. Eileen offered guidance, suggestions, and input, all of which resulted in an offer on my home within two days of being posted online. That offer was accepted and closing has been completed. While there were some challenges along the way, Eileen approached them with professionalism and expertise. Thank goodness for Eileen, I cannot thank her enough.

Worked with Eileen for 14mths looking for a home. Some say thats too long but we were specific in what we wanted, market at purchase time was crazy (sellers market) and we took some time off because of the market. She is very responsive and knows damn near everyone in the market. She not only battles for you but if you have a question that she doesn't know the answer to she finds the answer out. We were in some tough negotiations, bidding wars and issues with our attorney (we chose them not her) and Eileen was there to guide us and act on our behalf every step of the way. The only down side to our business together is that its over. Everything you could ask for in an agent...well qualified, well respected and straight to the point.

My husband and I bought our first home through Eileen in the Carmel area in 2008. Eileen's expertise got us in the perfect home, a beloved converted Cape Cod that we happily inhabited until 2017 when we decided to move across the country. There was no question we would use Eileen when it came to selling our house, and we are not disappointed. Eileen worked with Erik Toto (see also review for Toto), and we could not have asked for a better team. My husband and I had a very tight schedule, and Eileen advised us on exactly when to put the house on the market to sell by our ideal date. She forecasted the closing date as well. Her projections were spot on in terms of timing. But her and Erik also had given us a range of what she thought we would make on the house. She was not only correct, but we were at the high end of that amount. We were, in short, happy. I cannot recommend Eileen and Erik more highly. They were excellent agents, and I would use them again if I bought in the area. Eileen's decades of experience put her well ahead of the pack.

Eileen helped us both buy and sell our home. She is fantastic at what she does, and knows the market very well. She was incredibly help and patient with us during the process. Excellent negotiator! She has created a team that works with her, and they are lovely to work with as well. Wouldn't turn anywhere else!

I've dealt with multiple realtors in my life and, without doubt, Eileen Barrett is the absolute best. I was not the most easy client since I was emotionally attached to the home I needed to sell and because the property for sale was in New York but I live in Virginia. Consistently, Eileen went the extra mile to meet every need and to help me through the process -- simply could not have done it without her. I don't give out perfect ratings easily but in this case it is entirely deserved. I was told by others that she was the best and that turned out to be completely true.
