More about Eric J Hartley
Eric Hartley is a native of Watauga County and a Graduate of Appalachian State University. In fact, his family moved to Watauga County in 1799. He spent much of his childhood roaming the woods and learning life lessons from his father, now retired Land Surveyor, Jim Hartley. Although Jim was a surveyor by trade, he was involved in major projects throughout the region including the development of Beech Mountain, Mill Ridge, Three Top Mountain, and most recently Council Oaks Subdivision in Boone.
With his extensive experience in road design and site layout, Jim was a perfect complement to EHC until his retirement in 2012. Before retirement, he passed on much of his knowledge to Eric which had made him an even more well-rounded General Contractor.
