Buyers Beware! Especially first home buyers!!! Verify everything these realtors say. 5 years after the sale to my daughter in her first home I still seethe when I think about the lousy representation by the Duckworths. Every major appliance had to be replaced and the furnace turned out to be leaking CO2 had to be shut down, within 48 hours of the closing and totally replaced - there was no heat in November through Thanksgiving!!!! Kids were showering at school because the water heater had to be replaced, using wifi for homework at McDonald because all the cables in the entire house had been cut!! The Air Conditioner also was burned out and had to be replaced. ALL appliances had been listed as working. NONE of them did!!! Not knowing that home inspectors can be bought my daughter believed these realtors she thought they cared about her and since she didnt know of any personally she went with their recommendation what a farce!!! The duct system was full of debris, the outside sprinkler system which still hasn't been replaced was cannibalized, the toilets Steve even stopped by in a suit to say it was a $20.00 fix turned out to all have to be replaced and all the windows frosted up because of needing to be replaced all of them!!!!! The shower leaked because of poor tiling and I could go on and on and on. The Duckworths had even talked my daughter into arbitration knowing that she would be denied due process with that choice and then up against their high powered attorneys from their realty company which would be cost prohibitive especially after all these repairs. The kids are surviving its been very stressful for them. Don't trust these people to have your interests at heart, they are all about their money for lifesized Christmas decorations and trips. Hopefully backed off from Covid but before that my goodness on the backs of buyers like my daughter!!!! 5 years and I will not forgive these realtors for almost killing my family with a faulty furnace and beware do not trust they don't care about running you into the ground financially either.
