Erin Primrose

Erin was a real joy to work with; so wonderful, in fact, that we had her help our family with two transactions. One was selling my parents' house (and large garden), which was a huge task transitioning after 35 years. Erin was a big support, even helping retouch paint, schlepping tons to books to Powell's and spreading gravel. (Maybe I shouldn't have included that bit!) She was super easy to work with, honest, always upbeat and very knowledgeable. I really can't say enough positive about our experience. Perhaps the big confirmation was what the buyer of my parents' place said about her: "I've worked with lots of realtors over the years, and Erin was far and above the best I've ever worked with." Then my brother asked her to help him buy a place when he was ready to move back to town, almost at the same time as she was working on our folks' place...and I know we weren't her only clients. We loved working with Erin!

My experience with Erin Primrose was of the highest quality! She went above and beyond her duties as a realtor, and really spent the time to find me my perfect home. She was patient, informative, knowledgable, and most of all respectful of my needs. In fact it was Erin who suggested we look at the house I ended up buying!! She knew it had a lot of the features I was looking for, even when I wasn't completely sold on it. I am so grateful for her because now I live in the most perfect place! Erin helped us find find our dream home in the summer of 2015, during what I refer to as the "summer of the Portland house hunt battle." Being both first time home buyers and new to the Portland area, we required a lot of hand holding from start to finish. Erin was so patient while educating us through the many steps of purchasing a home and shared her vast knowledge of the Portland neighborhoods and the best kept secrets of each Portland pocket. She listened, truly understood exactly what we were looking for in a home and was extremely proactive in sending us listing suggestions and new approach strategies to our hunt. After submitting multiple offers, she kept us motivated and on track to closing on a home that had everything that we had been wanting - and in less than 30 days! Erin was an absolute pleasure to work with and we strongly recommend her to anyone looking for success in finding a home while sharing a few (many!) great laughs.

Erin was absolutely perfect. She made the process of selling my home virtually stress free. She kept me informed through each step of the sale. I had my first offer within eighteen hours of listing my home. Erin was extremely considerate of my privacy and arranged all of the appointments for inspections and repairs with the least amount of intrusiveness. She made sure that i received top dollar for my home. I am now looking for a new home and I am looking forward to working with Erin again.

She was incredible at keeping our spirits up in this very competitive market via her humor and her insight. On a phone call where she could sense uncertainty in my voice on, for example, repair negotiations, she was always quick to ask, What can I do for you? What are your concerns? Lets talk this out. By the end of our real estate relationship, it had transformed into more of a guidance counselor/friendship relationship. You forget she has other clients because Erin makes you feel like her number one priority always. In the span of only three months, Erin worked diligently to help us sell our home and purchase a new one. But it doesnt stop there. Since our business relationship concluded, she has continued to serve as an enthusiastic resources, checking in with us periodically and referring contractors, repairmen, even giving us tips for simple DIY projects! If you are looking for a realtor that has true integrity and has her clients best interests at heart, Erin is the one. She is an amazing realtor and a lovely person - exactly who you want with you on a real estate journey. Erin goes above and beyond in every facet of purchasing a home. I cannot describe how grateful I am to have found her to guide us on our house buying adventure, she held our hands every step of the way and supported us emotionally and practically, as well as with her extensive knowledge of all things real estate and Oregon related. Erin assisted us wholeheartedly through the purchase of our first home in the US. And boy was it a lengthly process! We met Erin back in 2016, when we first considered relocating to Portland. From the very first time I spoke to Erin on the phone I knew she was the right realtor for us. She was professional, warm and helpful over the phone; immediately ready to invest her commitment in helping us find the right home. Since then she has been with us every step of the way, from our first tentative exploration of the market here, through many ups and downs including a sale that fell through because of the many surprises found during inspection (which I suspect we would not have discovered if Erin did not have such good knowledge of the most thorough inspectors and structural engineers), until now when we finally found and successfully purchased our dream home, and all from another state. Never did we feel pressured by Erin in any way and she was always gracious with juggling our long wish-list (which evolved as our family grew and our needs and budget changed), our conflicting desires of space and walkability, close enough to work and close to our chosen school (on opposite sides of the river, of course), move in ready but must-have character etc etc. Erin was also invaluable with explaining things to us. Coming from South Africa, where houses are built with brick with no plumbed gas and no basements, and not knowing much about how houses work here, it was invaluable having someone who could patiently explain things like radon, basement sump pumps and the benefits of different types of siding lol! Erin also went out of her way to help us through our house buying process from out of state by sending doing wonderful video tours for us, explaining and showing us around Portlands diverse neighbourhoods when we visited and finally helping me to see our chosen house in person with two small children. But out of everything, I think the most wonderful thing for me was how lovely and personable Erin is. She has an excellent sense of humour, is fun to talk to and view houses with. She is amazing with our at first 2 & 1/2 & now 4 & 1/year old son, noticing him as a person and listening to him, involving him with little details like unlocking doors, even playing games with him to keep him occupied while we looked at houses in detail. (She is one of his favourite people now <3.) Its difficult house hunting with little kids in tow and Erin made it possible. I just cant say enough good things about Erin, I think she might actually have some serious superpowers ;) If youre looking for someone to stand by you and guide you with honesty and care in the stressful and exhilarating experience of buying a home, I cannot recommend Erin Primrose more highly!

What, only 5 stars? I'd give Erin 6. She was very patient with us (this was our first sale of a home), and, I thought, went above and beyond what would be expected. (Help with packing, cleaning, paint touch up and arranging for help)

Erin was incredibly helpful finding a new home. She was very knowledgeable about not just the market, but also about what makes a good home and a bad home. From our first meeting to getting keys, she made every step a breeze. The only downside to buying a house with Erin, is that I won't get to spend as much time hanging out with her now that we closed. She is the best!

We needed to sell our house in November, not a great time to sell. Other houses in our neighborhood, less expensive than ours, had been on the market more than 60 days but their listings were bland. Erin created a great listing that emphasized the strong points of our house. She helped us stage the house and her photographer was able to catch the beautiful essence of it for the listing. We were ready to be patient but within 2 weeks we sold the house. Erin did an amazing job!
