A lifetime New Yorker and a one-time real estate broker, my uncle is a tough cookie and expects top notch professional service. From the moment we met her, through each of the steps to the final sale Erin delivered this expectation in SPADES. She has a complex set of skills and dispositions that make her the ideal agent of choice to sell your home. #1: Confidence coupled with knowledge - Erin understands the present NY market and gave us a clear and accurate range for pricing the apartment. She appreciates the big picture and helped us prepare the place for viewing, emphasizing areas that needed attention and others we could leave as is.#2: Energetic and efficient - there was not one moment in our dealings with her, when Erin was anything other than positive, upbeat and available.     • We very, very highly recommend Erin, she and her team did a really fantastic job for us. Here below are just some of the reasons why we believe she is the perfect person to work with: 1. Getting the listing ready When you sell your apartment, you want the apartment to look its best in order to get the highest price. When we wanted to sell our apartment, we met with and interviewed about 5 different brokers from different firms. Except for Erin, each of the brokers told us about all the things we needed to do to get the apartment ready for sale. Erin, on the other hand, told us about all the things she and her team were going to do for us (!) to get the apartment in perfect, show-ready condition. As soon as we signed up with her, she did exactly that and more! After she was done, the apartment looked fantastic and far better than it had ever looked. She then had beautiful professional pictures taken and arranged for sales brochures and internet listings that looked spectacular. She also organized fabulous open houses with wine tastings. Her full-out sales efforts resulted in lots of traffic and multiple interested buyers. We could not have been more pleased! 2. Asking Price As every broker will tell you, getting the asking price right is critically important. Price it too low and you likely end up leaving money on the table, price it too high and you may not sell at all. The asking prices proposed by the brokers I interviewed were all over the place with some as low as 20% below the asking price we ended up settling on. Erin does her homework and really knows the market and the asking price she suggested was high and right on the mark. After some negotiating with Erin''s expert help, we ended up selling at a higher price than we had thought possible in an all-cash deal, a fantastic result! 3. Responsiveness When you are selling your apartment there is a lot at stake and you want a broker to be responsive and keep you fully informed on a real-time basis. A few of the brokers we interviewed did not return our calls for days though they claimed to be very interested in getting the business. Erin, on the other hand, is more responsive than anyone we have ever dealt with, calling with details after every showing (and we had a lot of showings), and always returning calls rapidly to provide responses to the many questions we asked. She is always very happy to provide all the hand-holding that is needed to make it a completely stress-free experience. 4. Advice and Insight Finally, when you are selling (or buying) an apartment, you want a broker that has expert insight into the other side''s goals and intentions. One of the things that makes Erin so good, is that she really pays attention to potential buyers'' emotional responses during showings. She very accurately assessed the emotional interest our buyer had which gave us a real leg up in the negotiations. Without her insight and advice, we would have ended up settling for substantially less. In our opinion, Erin really puts the customer first. She is extremely knowledgeable and pro-active with a real can-do attitude. She is very responsive and provides valuable feedback and insight and, to cap it all off, she is also a tremendous pleasure to work with.
