- Francis helped me buy a home
I am a first-time home buyer. I had a lot of doubts about the process whatsoever when I first started taking a look at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. Francis was truly exceptional. He was always available for home tours. His responsiveness was incredible and he was immensely patient with our seemingly endless questions. He was able to support us during the stressful mortgage process, were an indispensable line of communication with the bank, especially considering we are first-time buyers. His advocacy was amazing! We consider ourselves extremely lucky and blessed to have had him as our Realtor!! We are grateful that he helped us find our home.

Even though high-interest rates can be intimidating for potential homebuyers, there are several advantages to buying a home during such times. Here are some pros of buying now despite high-interest rates:Less Competition:High-interest rates can deter many potential buyers, resulting in less competition for available homes. You may have more negotiating power with sellers who are eager to close a deal.Motivated Sellers:Sellers might be more willing to negotiate on price, closing costs, or other terms. You may find that homes that were previously overpriced are now being listed at more reasonable rates.More Time to Decide:With fewer buyers in the market, you can take more time to make decisions without the pressure of multiple offers or bidding wars. This can lead to a more thoughtful purchase and less buyer's remorse.Potential for Future Refinancing:If interest rates decrease in the future, there is an opportunity to refinance and secure a lower rate.Buying now locks in the home price before it potentially rises further.Building Equity:Even with higher interest rates, you are still building equity with every mortgage payment, unlike renting.Inflation can actually work in your favor as fixed mortgage payments become relatively cheaper over time, and property values tend to keep up with or exceed inflation.Tax Advantages:Homeownership can provide potential tax benefits such as mortgage interest deductions.Property tax and certain closing costs may also be deductible.Long-Term Investment:Real estate has historically appreciated over the long term, providing a potential hedge against inflation.Ownership offers stability and the potential for long-term financial gain.More Options:You might find a greater variety of homes available as there is less pressure from other buyers.
