- Fred listed and sold my home
Fred is a nice enough guy and kept us updated on progress while my mom's house was on the market. He was way off on his estimated market value, though. He didn't do any of the preliminary things he should have, like measuring square footage to make sure it was accurate. When listing with him, I had already received a cash offer he thought was way too low--so we listed at his price. He didn't say anything about writing this offer in as an exclusion in the contract. The final selling price was pretty much exactly what my original offer was, but we had to pay realtor commissions and closing fees. I was very disappointed in my experience with Fred.
