Real estate has many facets. It is a home, an investment, the center of our physical residence, a thing of beauty, a place for recreation, a thing to be conquered, a thing to be conserved, a place of pleasant memories, and unfortunately, to some, a burden. For me, it's been most all of that to some degree. I've enjoyed climbing all our Colorado 14ers (mountains over 14,000 feet high), some more than once. If you have not hiked our mountains, you have not seen Colorado - unless of course you have enjoyed some of our scenic photo books of the high country.
