This review should be taken with some extra weight. I'm a commercial real estate broker, so technically, I have access to the MLS and didn't need to hire another broker, as I could do the search myself. That said, I was buying a multi-unit residential building, and Greg is the expert in that department. He did NOT disappoint! From beginning to end, Greg gave me advice and direction that turned out to be invaluable. His "chess-match" approach made sure to take into account not only how to find and buy the best property available, but also how to plan and budget to get the best returns possible after the purchase. He skillfully navigated the negotiation process, and we beat the heck out of the seller on the final price. Arguably the biggest value Greg has brought to my transaction has been all of the advice. Greg is a true professional and works hard to make sure all of the bases are covered and details are taken care of. From prepping your home to making sure the photoshoot is perfect, he's obsessive about the details. And the makes the world of difference. This is my second review of Ask Nagel - first time I was the buyer and second time I was the seller. I wouldn't have dreamt of asking anyone else to list my condo after having such a great experience with Greg and his team the first time. And sure enough, they delivered! When deciding to sell, Greg came by and made recommendations on how to prep my place to sell. I took all of his recommendations and he couldn't have made it easier. Even was there when I couldn't be there for one of the quotes. Following that, I had showing after showing, constant traffic to my place even when my neighbor with the same floor plan but on the top floor listed. Long story short - my condo sold quick and for a great price. I would recommend Ask Nagel to anyone looking to get the best dollar on their home sale. Let me start by saying that Greg met with us knowing there was a 50/50 chance we were going to sell our home. My preference was to rehab our current home, and send our son to a private school in the area. Greg was patient and not pushy. He really became our biggest ally in discovering if moving was the 'right move.' He introduced us to parents at the schools we were considering, posted questions online to get us answers we needed, and followed up with us after each school tour. Ultimately, we did decide to move and would not have done it without his help. Greg gave extremely practical advice on what we needed to do to sell.
