I had the best experience with Heather Benfield. She helped me sell my home in Summer 2017. I had the home on the market for over a year with other realtors without much luck. She has a wealth of knowledge and resources. She helped me stage the home, find a great photographer to take warm and inviting photos of the home. She would stop by the home if another realtor ever mentioned a pressing issue. She was calm and positive though the whole process. When a buyer came around she had amazing instincts and helped negotiate a fair price for the home. Working as an insurance agent I meet a lot of realtors and Heather is one of the best!

Putting into words the gratitude we have for Heather is tough. Selling your home is scary, but multiply those fears by a thousand when you're selling your home without another home waiting for you. Tack on cluelessness (on our part) because you've never sold a home before and you've got a recipe for disaster. But not with Heather. While we were stressing out, she remained calm. Easing our stresses and our worries with answers to questions we didn't even know we had. Heather's even-keeled demeanor was the calming presence we needed throughout the entire transaction - from listing to closing. Her voice of reason made us feel a little more sane during the times we wondered "what on earth are we doing?!". When we got into a multiple offer situation, Heather navigated us effortlessly through the process. She explained each step along the way, even if it was something we thought we didn't need to know. Heather took the time to make sure we understood everything, oftentimes explaining things twice due to the fact that my husband and I work opposite schedules. Lastly, Heather KNOWS. HER. STUFF. During the closing process, the buyer's agent filled paperwork out incorrectly. Heather caught it, immediately. Had she not, it would have cost us. You use an agent to catch mistakes, not make them. Heather doesn't make mistakes. She is thorough, making sure she gets the best for her clients.

It is amazing to have a realtor who combines passion, local knowledge, integrity and professionalism. Heather did a masterfully thoughtful staging of our Riverside condo, executing a completed contract in ten days. I always felt immediately informed around all aspects of the process, and felt guided on all choices but in a collaborative way. She's absolutely the best real estate agent I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and that's saying something in a community that has an incredible agent community.

David and Heather are also excellent negotiators, helping us get exactly what we were looking for at a great price. I have already recommended them to several good friends and when we go to sell our house there is no question that we will list with them.

We met David Benfield when we were interested in touring a local historic home in the Avondale area of Jacksonville. He responded immediately and was as charmed by the home as we were. Ultimately, we looked at several historic properties and David and Heather Benfield showed impressive knowledge of local old homes and architecture, as well as the ins and outs of dealing with the Riverside Avondale Preservation Society and the permitting process for work on historic properties. They showed us what charms old homes can possess as well as the possible issues that need repair/replacement over time. David helped us evaluate each potential home for cast iron piping, knob and tube wiring, structural issues and also helped us spot charming picture railing, original wood floors with intricate in-lays, bronze fixtures,etc. David was patient, extremely responsive, and helped us deal with all of the issues that crop up during the home-buying process. David was an excellent liason between the seller's agent and others involved in the purchase process and constantly advocated for us. If you are looking for an agent who is as excited to find your home as you are and who will deftly help you maneuver through the process from start to finish, David and Heather are the team for you.

We knew we wanted to list our Florida bungalow with Heather and David Benfield instantly. This beloved home was our first home together as a young married couple, and the place we brought all 3 of our babies home to (said babies are now 12, 8, and 6 and a half). Both Heather and David knew how special this house was to us as a family. Respecting the emotions behind listing and ultimately selling what was your first-time house, Heather and David worked tirelessly and with such passion for this sale to succeed. With a genuine love for historic districts and neighborhoods, their creative genius took over instantly, bringing to life unique aspects of the house to feature in very special ways. Heather's expertise, precision, and diligence guided us significantly, especially when it came to decision-making opportunities. She is steady, trustworthy, and caring in her approach. David's loyalty was a guiding light through the process, start to finish, never once leaving us waiting for a response. My husband and I felt entirely held and supported throughout the listing and ultimately the successful sale of our home with both of them. Listing and selling a home during a global pandemic did not hinder Heather and David in the least. Both of these phenomenal professionals were steadfast in moving forward with the sale, keeping communications lines open, and staying vigilant with us as sellers and our concerns during COVID-19. We could not have wished for a more positive process, nor could we have hoped for two more compassionate, bright, and experienced individuals in their field. While we now find ourselves in what we hope to be our "forever home," should a situation arise where we are in need of selling, there is no one else we would go with other than Heather and David Benfield.
