J. Kevin Huggins

Chapel Hill has been my home town for over 33 years. I began my real estate sales career in 1987 in Carrboro, NC and founded Christopher Road Realty with my wife, Vicki, in 1990. Christopher Road Realty continues to function as our residential land development company. In 1996, I purchased a minority interest in Chapel Hill Realty Group from its founder, John Cates. I completed the purchase of the entire firm in 2000 and began assembling the current ownership team. During my 27 year real estate career I have developed over 300 residential lots, been a partner in multi-family and commercial projects, been a partner in a surveying firm, consistently been a multi-million dollar sales producer, managed real estate sales staffs, and participated in the construction of numerous single-family homes. Due to these experiences, I am able to offer a high level of local knowledge, expertise and customer service in numerous facets of our industry.
