Jaco Gerbrands

Jaco is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to the United States on a tennis scholarship in 2007. During his college career at Colorado Mesa University he had the opportunity to compete in various tennis tournaments and travel throughout the United States. He moved to the High Country to pursue a master's degree in Exercise Science at Appalachian State University. It didn't take long for Jaco and his wife to fall in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the outdoor activities it has to offer. After a few years of enjoying the peaceful yet adventurous lifestyle in the High Country they knew it would be the perfect place to start a family. Leading up to working at Blowing Rock Investment Properties Jaco worked in the fitness industry where he was driven and passionate to see his clients reach their full potential through their hard work and dedication. In his real estate career he has taken on that same mentality to help his clients find their perfect property; being dedicated to each client's' specific needs for their perfect home in the High Country.
