- Jae showed me homes
Jae Jones-Wright is very professional and personable. She's reliable and answers questions promptly. My only gripe is I feel she's more of a seller's agent, due to advising me to bid higher than my desired offer.
- Jae helped me buy a home
Personal, prompt and knowledgeable. I ended up paying 8k less than full ask if you include my 4k seller assist, but I believe I could have gotten a better deal if Jae advocating for me more. As the previous poster said though, I believe Jae was more concerned about what the seller wanted instead of representing me, the buyer/client. My attempts to come in at a lower price were dismissed by her, and it seemed like she was unwilling to negotiate and advocate for other small things like a washer and dryer being included. So I question if she actually had my best interest in mind, or was just looking to close fast and walk off with her commission. I don't think her negotiating skills were strong at all to be honest.

I was super satisfied with my experience in the home buying process she was super friendly caring patient and understanding to my wants and needs so walked me through the process and made sure I understood the process the whole way through I couldn’t ask for a better person to help me buy my first home through and with and even 6 years later I am still very pleased with her mannerism when I reach out to just re thank her for my home in which I still love up until this day, couldn’t again ask for a more profound person to work with.
- Jae and I connected, but did no business
It’s been four days since dealing with Ms. Jae Jones and I have had enough time to cool off. That said, working with her has been a complete nightmare littered with constantly shifting expectations, terrible communication, and worst of all, a nonstop attitude problem. My agent and I spent weeks trying to secure a unit at a duplex she was listing. The application process was overcomplicated but initially well communicated—she asked for two years of W-2s, tax returns, full bank statements, and a credit check. Fine, I complied. Eventually, I got approved and was told I’d hear from her on June 23...On the 23rd she emailed to schedule a call on the 24th that she canceled due to an emergency, pushing it to the 26th. Fine… However, by then, I was already getting anxious since my requested move-in date was the 29th. During the call, she says the lease wouldn’t be ready until Friday the 28th or even Monday the 30th. At which point we’d still need to schedule a time to go over it together. Then another time to meet and sign the lease. I’m confused by all the bureaucracy here; I am renting a unit not buying a house. Then Monday hits. No update. I email her at noon asking what's going on, and she calls me and goes completely off the rails. aggressively yelling at me for five straight minutes, saying she didn’t know my move-in date (which was in the application), blaming my agent and refusing to take responsibility, and saying things like “just because you chose a move-in date doesn’t mean you’ll get it.” Apparently, I should’ve known the gas wasn’t transferred into the right name—something she tells me she could’ve sorted ahead of time with a month-to-month lease. I told her we were done and hung up the phone completely stunned and furious. With only a few hours left on my current lease, I scrambled to contact another apartment I had thankfully already been approved for—and finished my move in at 2AM. yes, you read that right. I signed a lease, paid and moved in to an apartment in half a day. A process that was taking Ms. Jae a week to figure out. TLDR: I do not wish anyone the misfortune of working with Jae Jones. The whole application could’ve worked out if anyone else had been handling it.
