I apologize in advance for my lengthy testimonial, but the depth of my awe and appreciation with Team Graham cannot be summed up in a brief review.My boyfriend and I were planning to move to Colorado from out of state, and we went through two other agents before finally (and thankfully) working with Val and James. Our experience with our other two agents was greatly disappointing- it was up to us to find the listings and forward them to the agents, who strangely weren't overly familiar with the Boulder/Denver area. We weren't made aware of how competitive the market is and, in a panic, bought a house on the advice of an agent not familiar with how to assess a property, and after a horrible inspection, we pulled out. It was then that we decided to connect with the Grahams.Val was my main contact, and she reached out to me every single day for over 6 weeks. She let me know how the market worked and came up with a strategy. Her familiarity not only with the entire area of northern Colorado but also with the structural integrity of properties took such a load off of my shoulders and eased my weary mind. We were set up with an interactive home listing database emailed to us daily, and since Val familiarized herself with our wants and needs, she would set out to view properties on our behalf, starting the day with an email overview of the properties she was going to view for us (of course asking if there were additional properties we were interested in). She would then call me during the walk throughs and give me her opinion on the condition of the entire property, the potential, the highlights and concerns, and the neighborhood. In the evening she would follow up with a written synopsis of each of the properties she looked at, along with whether or not she thought any of them were worth putting an offer on.Since our budget kept us in the most competitive price bracket, it was very difficult to succeed with multiple offers coming in. But Val was not to be discouraged. In addition to the conventional listings, Val investigated "pocket" listings (those not yet listed) and even reached out to a for sale by owner. With her creativity, resourcefulness, networking and persistence, she found us our home. She was so in tune with our needs, I never felt like we had to settle. Her determination and positivity made an extremely difficult, stressful situation so much more tolerable.I cannot wait to recommend Val to anyone I come across who may be looking for a house now, or in the future. Having a real estate agent of her caliber is the best investment you can make in your upcoming or future home ownership.
