I had lived in my home since 1998 and had very little knowledge of how to sell a home or how to go about finding a realtor. I chose the first realtor who called me back and it did not go well at all. I learned my first lesson fast which is to do your research before selecting a realtor! When it came time to find my new realtor I did just that and ended up finding James Knurek. From the moment I met James his knowledge, professionalism, and experience were very obvious and I almost immediately knew I had chosen an excellent realtor. James worked very hard and was always available for any questions I had. He made the whole experience of selling my home smooth and less stressful because I felt I had someone really working on my side! During the process I also worked with Bob Knurek as well and he showed the same drive, knowledge, and professionalism. Upon hiring the Knurek team, my house sold very quickly and I feel both James and Bob worked very hard on my behalf to settle on a fair but good price for me and also helped me with all the other smaller details that go along with selling the home. I would recommend the Knurek team to anyone!

We were informed that we were being relocated to another state by the company we worked for. We were given a choice of two realtors. One that sold us the house previously and the other was James. After both realtors toured the property and submitted their recommendation, our decision to go with James was easy because of the recommended price range. During the process of drafting the contract with the realtor, James discovered that the previous realtor who sold us the house overstated the square footage by over 200 sq ft. Therefore, he adjusted his recommendation which we were satisfied with. From that point forward, James instructed us on every detail and process we needed to do and was very understanding when we had concerns and questions. We had a lot of questions! He answered every one of them without getting frustrated. Kudos to him for that. As a result of his honesty, work ethic and knowledge of the market, our house was sold in a couple days. James was awesome! He analyzed our neighborhood and home perfectly to sell quickly while other homes in same range continue to sit on the market. James helped us negotiate through a couple of offers that came in and advised all options. James' responsiveness, communication and knowledge were key as he represented us on both the selling and buying ends. The Knurek team was referred to me by a co-worker after seeing my house on the market for one year and no sale activity. I immediately made contact with Bob and my first impression on meeting him was professionalism, experience and knowledge with humility. The task at hand was to sell my house and at the same time close a deal on a purchase. Soon after listing my house there was instant activity. Updates would be provided after a showing advises given on next step. It was not long after an offer was received and this was when James got involved as Bob was vacationing in Sunny Florida. Now my first impression seeing James was young, inexperienced but after meeting him I quickly realized I was completely off-base on that. He was on the ball and the following day we were out looking at houses. I could go on and on but in just over month James was able to tie both deals together and executed. I had a goal in mind and he made sure that it was met. He is a very aggressive individual but in a subtle way. I was not at all surprised when the agent for the house that I was buying showed up at my final walk through. She indicated that she had a conflict and would not be able to attend the closing, however she just wanted to meet James, because in her years of experience she has never worked with another agent and everything went as smoothly as it did. Need not say more. The Knurek team does really have the Knack. My apologies for the long review but it is worth every word. My town house was on the market for 6 months before James received the listing. It was a difficult task to sell the property, because even though it had many desireable amenities (including renovated kitchen, marble fireplace, etc) it was a challenging local market. It took a truly skilled realtor with strong negotiation skills to sell, because there was always at least 5-10 similar listings in the townhouse complex while this listing was on the market. The unit was also being comped to a number of foreclosures/short sales in the complex which were priced well under market value. Once James acquired the listing the amount of showings tripled in frequency on a weekly basis and we received two offers in the first month. Due to James' strong work ethic, extensive contacts, unsurpassed professionalism, and persistent follow up, we were able to sell our townhouse at a reasonable price. The day the buyers closed on our property there were 9 other units on the market, 4 were bank foreclosures/short sales, and 5 units were priced less than ours. I would have to say that James went above and beyond what we asked of him. We came in with a number of condos we wanted to look at but when we did, we weren't happy with any of them.
