Jan Alicardi

I am a former client of Jan's writing to tell you what a wonderful experience it was working with her. I wasn't even actively looking for an agent, but I had listed my house and she called to inquire on behalf of her client. I explained that my home was under contract, so being the good little go-getter she is, she asked if I needed help finding another home. I explained that I was downsizing significantly and that it would hardly be worth her time, but she was unphased and still wanted to work with me. We made a joke about giving it two weeks...six long weeks later we finally had my perfect little house under contract -- LOL! It was a frustrating journey for us both, as homes at my price point are investor bait and no sooner listed then went under contract. During that time Jan (and Alex) never gave up and worked tirelessly with me as if I was Jan's only client. I can do the math and between the hours spent researching and the miles we traveled, I am sure the commission was barely worth her time. More than just doing the work, Jan became a friend I could count on to support and encourage me through a very stressful period and I know we will remain good friends.I have worked with a number of realtors over the years, but never experienced the level of service, professionalism, and dedication that Jan exhibited from that first phone call all the way to closing. You have a true gem in her! She may not have made much on my transaction, but I intend to pay it forward and have referred her to my mother who is selling our family home in Smyrna. My parents are moving to senior living so it's another stressful situation, but I am confident that Jan will be as helpful and compassionate with them as she was with me.
