Jay Crane

From when we first met Jay as a selling agent, he impressed us so much we asked him to become our buying agent. He was the first realtor we had met that showed us properties that met our requirements, and didn't try to up sell us or push us outside of our budget. We were relocating from Columbia to Greenville. Jay was amazing working on our schedule, and was very available and communicative. When we would have to bring our 1.5 yo daughter along to look at houses, he would insist on playing with her so we could look at the home. All of the inspectors, etc he recommended were great, and didn't rubber stamp the property but revealed flaws and problems on the property in their reports. He gave us honest home value opinions on houses we liked, which in one case caused us to not have the owner accept the offer or even counter, but he was steadfast in his believe the home was overvalued. Ultimately, once we had an accepted offer on a house, he was in contact almost daily moving the ball forward to close on the home. I cannot recommend Jay enough if you're in the market to buy a home; he'll find what you're looking for, and be a steadfast advocate from beginning to end.

Jay was extremely helpful and patient throughout the process of buying our first home. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were getting the home that best fit our needs. He was very easy to get in touch with and quickly responded to all our questions, no matter how simple they seemed. Jay did a phenomenal job going to bat for us and helping us maneuver through contingency and closing with a rather difficult agent/owner.

Jay is top of the line. Great guy who doesnt pressure the buyer/seller. He is very knowledgeable and has the experience to back it up. He is the only person I trust to sell/buy a home with. I highly recommend Jay Crane hes the best in the business.

Jay asked me a lot of helpful questions right off the bat. This helped us narrow the scope of the type of house I was looking for. Then he was able to find me several houses that fit those conditions. There were a few houses that I found on Zillow that I bounced off him and he gave me reasons why they might not fit my needs (too far from work etc.). He guided me through several potential obstacles during the purchasing process. He anticipated my needs. Once the house was under contract, he helped me with negotiating. He helped me negotiate repairs with the seller. After I purchased the house, he helped me avoid some pitfalls. And then after I owned the house, he helped me get a contractor to finish up the repairs that I couldnt get the seller to do. Jay was still helping me well past any time that he could still be making a commission. A friend referred me to him and I will refer him to my friends too.

Jay has sold two houses for me both times with the nation under difficult financial circumstances. Both time he did an excellent job representing my families best interests. Jay has acted on my behalf during these transactions to include poorly timed (for him) trips to the property to allow access since both times I was several States away during the process. Jay has kept me well informed, made sure all the issues were covered (how many times do you sell a house and do you really think you know all the processes necessary?) and keep a cheerful attitude. I cannot recommend him more!

Jay was FANTASTIC! He is extremely detailed and knowledgable. This was the first time I had sold a home and he helped me keep track of everything and meet all the deadlines with time to spare. He made the process very easy to handle and was great about being available to answer all of my many questions. Highly recommend Jay for anyone who is selling/buying a home.

Jay and Sarah helped me sell a house and buy a new house. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. Extremely knowledgeable about the area, noticed things about houses that I would not have even known to look for and very responsively and reliable. They helped point me in the right direction when I had issues with a mortgage company, and were very thorough. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy.
