I would like to extend my Thank You's to the Jay Day Home Team!!I had heard about them from my favorite radio station WFRE when I was living in Frederick. When I decided to move and sell my home I had every intention of using them but went with a referral from a friend - needless to say 6 months later the house was still on the market. I contacted Jay Day immediately - Jay worked with me to go over all of the options available to see what would work with my situation. Not only had I already moved out of Maryland but I owed more than the appraised value.Based on the options I decided to try and sell it within a 2 month period and then rent it if nothing happened. Jay would have assisted with the rental as well. It sounded like an excellent solution to my situation. The pictures were taken and the house was put on the market. The first day there were more showings on the house than what was done in the 6 months the other realtor had the house.The house sold the 4th day it was on the market - talk about excitement!! The process they use of getting an appraisal of your home, bringing in a stager to help set up the house and then getting it plenty of attention really helps. We listed our home and within 8 days we had 16 showings and two offers. As a result, we not only sold our house in a very short time, but we received 99% of the asking price and appraised value.

Christina helped me sell my property when no one else could. She was very attentive to my needs and worked hard to get the property sold. Throughout the whole process she was always updating me of the progress and she did a good job bringing all the groups together till the property was sold.

Christina told us that, due to the upper level price range of out home, it would take four to six weeks to get a contract.Because of her presentation and effort, we sold our home, for our asking price, in just over two weeks. Jay Day sold our house in 48 hours. The listing went live on Thursday and we had multiple offers by Saturday. Christina and her team went above and beyond the call of duty helping us find a home. I was very explicit in the home we were looking for as a family, and community amenities that needed to be included with the HOA. We decided to look at a few builders and while they are very pleasant the builders just weren't hitting all my marks for amenities, and I didn't want to waste valuable time looking at potential homesites that weren't going to fit our needs. Christina quickly stepped up to plate, and explained that this particular subdivision wouldn't suit our family, which I'm so thankful for because the last thing I wanted to do was bluntly say no. She also always made time to make sure someone was available to show us homes the few times we drove up from SC, mind you all scheduling on our part was last minute and rushed. Never once did we feel we were inconveniencing her. She kept in constant communication with us through text, phone calls, and emails which was a God send since we were out of state and couldn't keep up with the fast pace of Frederick real estate. She also took time out of her day to look at potential homes when we couldn't view the property personally. Now this was a big key point for us, being out of state meant we had to rely heavily on her input in deciding if a home was going to fit our needs. In one instance, she viewed a house and gave us all the details common from the photos, but this particular home had a LOT of stairs coming in and going out. These are things you don't particularly think about until you see it in person, and with a young child and the potential of a future child, stairs are the last thing you can handle while struggling with groceries and a toddler. My husband loved the house, but after listening to Christina's sound judgement he quickly realized getting new furniture in and out would also be a challenge. These are just a few examples, trust me, you can't go wrong with Jay and Christina. This whole process was made that much easier for all of us because of their expertise in their field, their ability to listen intently about what we wanted out of a home and amenities that came with a home, and their obvious understanding of their surrounding area.

I don't know what to say about these guys, except that they were awesome! The first house I saw was amazing, and I jumped on it. They were there, answering questions at all hours of the day, which was great! The biggest thing for me is I hate sales people. They didn't once try to upsell the house to me. If they had, I probably would have walked out almost immediately. So I'm really glad they didn't do that. They also helped get the loan into "clear to close" by contacting the loan officer teams boss directly. She responded even when on a business trip, so major thanks go out to her as well. All in all, I got the house I wanted, at a good price, and I'm now a home owner, with the huge task of paying off the biggest purchase of my life (so far) and I'm loving every minute! Thanks guys!
