  • Jay listed and sold my home

      As the executor of my old friend’s last will I had his house to sell, and by then the real estate market had grown difficult for sellers. When an estate is placed in probate the residential property traders get the details at the courthouse and I was besieged by prospective buyers; so I spent two weeks touring the place with would-be investors and a handful of real estate agents. Half a dozen friends strongly recommended that I sign up with this or that MLS agent. Soon I had seven offers in a wide range of cash amounts. One afternoon Mindy Robbins visited and suggested that my wife and I talk with her husband Jay. The Robbins were strangers to us, but everything Jay had to say about the residential “investor” market and my specific offers made me realize that, just as I had come to suspect, I was swimming with sharks. I agreed to a very short-term contract with Team Robbins just to find a safer cove in the market. Jay and his associates went to work, holding open houses, scheduling tours and soliciting offers. If I said no to an offer, Jay kept looking for others. When the right offer came I was amazed at what he had done, and I believe the buyers were as happy as I was.

        My family and I were truly blessed to come across Jay Robbins Real Estate Group. Their customer service was outstanding now only throughout the buying process, but even after we got our dream house, Jay continues to touch bases with Us, offering help in any way he can to make us feel conformable at home.       • When we wanted to sell our house the first person we called was Jay. He gave us a very good suggested price listing for our house and helped us know what upgrades to do in order for it to sell quickly. Despite a market with lots of competition our house was shown numerous times. That showed me that it was price correctly. Jay and Mindy were very supportive and available throughout the whole process. Even when we had some bad luck in that we found a slab leak on our house, Jay encouraged us to have it fixed asap. We had one contract on our house within the first week it was on the market. That one ended up falling through, but we continued to have many showings. Jay helped ours to eventually win out to someone who wanted to rent it. Our house was the smaller one with less bedrooms and a higher listing price than its competition. Our house won out thanks to Jay encouraging us to negotiate a good price. I would recommend Robins Real Estate to anyone in the Dallas area wanting to sell their home!

Over 10 years ago, Jay helped my elderly parents purchase their first home in suburban Richardson Texas, using my fathers status as a World War II Veteran to assist with financing their loan. Now, my father is finally enjoying retirement living here on the West Coast, making new friends and spending time with his grandchildren. A family with their own young children is living in the suburban Richardson Texas home near its excellent schools and family-oriented community. The Robbins sign was on all of the homes in our neighborhood that sold well.We were so glad once we started working with him.       • After a failed attempt to sell with Ebby, we went to Robbins Real Estate. Jay and Mindy are rock stars. They understand the market, both in terms of sellers and buyers, and when it comes to a listing price they don't force you to list at a low price to reduce their time and move on to their next client. They price aggressively because of their market sense, experience, and because at the end of the day they care about their customers and their families. Moving and buying a new home is a bigger task than most people understand, and Jay & Mindy will be there day and night to make sure everything goes as YOU expect. We tried for 4 months to sell our home with Ebby with no success. Their only suggestion was to "lower your price by $20k". You see $20k is a lot to you but not to a realtor; it's $600 in commission at the end of the day. Jay & Mindy don't operate in this fashion. Jay & Mindy sold our home at $15k above the Ebby listing price in 36 hours! Love these guys! I will never use another realtor as long as Iive in an area they are willing to buy/sell in :-)
