  • Jeff showed me homes

I have had a multifaceted experience with Jeff Kroll ranging from a property manager showing me rental units to eventually a real estate agent. Firstly as a disclosure however, I understand that "business is business" and that Jeff was on the sellers side and I on the buyers side. This of course creates a venue of competition. With that said, I have done business with much larger and impactful business people than Jeff could hope to be they retained a manner of grace and etiquette despite a down and dirty business fight. I can say without reservation that Jeff is not a shining diamond in the world of business or real estate. He works with slight of hand technique and brusque unpolished manner. He is not the business bulldog that he fancies himself. As a simple example and only one of many that perhaps encapsulates his demeanor and lack of skillset, it is customary for agents on both sides to acknowledge receipt of documents, emails, communications. My agent received a response from Jeff after she asked for acknowledgement of document receipt that was nothing more than "yes! what's your problem???". I can only imagine that this was part and parcel of Jeff's continued temper tantrum as a result of me not choosing to use him as buyers agent so that he could broker both sides of the deal. I instead used my long trusted agent to execute the deal. This was a small deal too. What would his attitude look like with a large stakes deal??? From his deception upon our first day meeting, failing to provide carbon monoxide monitors in his clients unit, to his own ancillary staff reporting a less than pleasant experience working with him, I had to report his behavior somehow. It is not like me to write reviews but this couldn't go unchecked. His website has catch lines at the bottom that I can only think attempts to exemplify his demeanor, and personality albeit falsely.... "Dance like no one is watching" "Love like you've never been hurt" and so on.... Watch out for this guy because what you see on either side of the deal is not what you get. Sincerely, JM

    • Jeff listed, but didn't sell, my home

Put simply, we fired Jeff (probably not soon enough) for poor communication, failure to perform his duties, and overall incompetency. Buyer be warned!
