I have purchase a total of 10 house over my 35 years. I have sold 5 over that time. So, I have dealt with my share of agents. I can say that Jeff Smith, was the most responsive, knowledgeable, efficient rep I have ever had. It started with his associate, Debbie, who works for the rental/property management side of things, when I was looking at renting out my then sick mom's condo, to help pay for her assisted living. Debbie helped arrange everything that needed to be done, to make it a nice rental, but also produce return on investment when sold. Sadly, my mom passed, just as we were finishing up, so we decided to list/sell it.From the first contact with Jeff, he was able to provided a market analysis and input on the community of South park in Littleton. He then did a walk through and came up with a few other inexpensive tweaks we could do, along with a reasonable staging option, that would maximize our selling price and return. Though we started toward the top of the market range, and knowing we would probably have to come down a bit, he ended up having it listed in a week, with photos, and held 3 days open house, along with about 10 private showings, over the course of 2 weeks. We were able to close about 5 weeks after listing, with an all cash buyer, at the top of the market price for a condo/layout my size. He also was great helping with minor things, estate notification, and helping with small fixes after walk through, especially since I live in CA. Overall, he is the best agent I have dealt with, both personality and efficient wise, along with his professionalism. Also, if you have some minor fixes, or even home improvements to get your place ready, consider Debbie, and then Jeff to list. They are a great 1-2 combo. Jeff also has some good contacts now for roofing(as we had to get proof of installation from a very honest/quality company), a great escrow company, and some other referrals via Debbie and their company.
