  • Jennifer and I connected, but did no business

We had a very bad experience with Jennifer Etsubneh. My husband & I emailed a prequalification letter in order to view one of her listings. I was out of the country, so my husband went to view the property. Sinxe we didn't have a realtor, my husband asked Jennifer if we needed a realtor or if she could represent us as the buyers. Jennifer said it didn't matter either way. Even though I was out of town, my husband & I knew we needed to make an offer as soon as possible. So I asked my best friend of 10 years (who lives in another city) if she could draw us up an offer. She did so immediately & submitted it toJennifer. When I returned to Miami from being out of the country on work, my husband asked if I could see the property. Jennifer's tone changed completely & we got a "have your realtor show it herself." Being that my best friend lives in another city & she was just doing us a favor by writing up an offer, that was an impossibility. So my best friend had to beg to let me see the property that I put an offer on. I showed up directly from the airport & I met with Jennifer's daughter. She knew who we were & was stated they were all confused because we said we didn't have a realtor & all of a sudden we did. I had to explain to her that my best friend was just helping us out with the offer because time was of the essence. After seeing the house, I sent flowers to Jennifer-thanking her for giving me the opportunity to see the house for myself. I sent them to thank her for allowing me to view a house I put an offer on. She then sent me a text saying that she couldn't accept the flowers because it was unethical. I won't go further on what I think of her behavior, but anyone I share this story with feels she discriminated against us.
