I was raised in a small east coast fishing community by my entrepreneur parents. Their turn of the century home required constant upkeep. I vividly recall at age 12 being handed a bucket of warm soapy water by my mother, to strip bedroom wallpaper from horsehair plaster walls. This ignited one of the first sparks that drew me into the appreciation of home ownership, and eventually my passion for real estate in general.
