We cannot thank Jeremy enough for the efforts he devoted toward the purchase of our new home. We have worked with several real estate agents in our lifetime and were thoroughly impressed by his skills, patience, professionalism, responsiveness, and work ethic. We are new to the area and he was instrumental in aiding our transition to the area, in addition to the home purchase. He coordinated estimates, appraisals, contractors, etc. in addition to providing expert business sense, negotiation skills, and all of the legwork toward closing. He remained patient, calm, and optimistic, which was greatly appreciated especially given how stressful home sales and negotiations can be. We would gladly recommend him to anyone in the real estate market. He is exceptional.

All those 5-stars may look like I'm firewalling this review, but let me explain how they were earned! I never imagined I'd ever buy a home sight unseen; however, I did just that a couple weeks ago and felt highly confident doing so. I'm so glad I'd read online reviews and made the informed choice to go with Jeremy as my buyer's agent!! I couldn't have done it without him. He was extremely responsive, contacting me immediately with news and checking in regularly all through the process. After our offer was accepted, he quickly got to arranging trades inspections in order to get estimates for issues brought up by the home inspector; he then negotiated with the seller's team to bring things to a mutually agreeable contract. He did everything he said he'd do and more, was very accommodating of any and all requests, and had the knowledge and experience to be a great advocate for us in the process. Buying a property is a big investment and it's important to align yourself with someone who knows the ropes, has the contacts, and possesses the skills to represent you well....and that's without buying remotely! In the current times,that's absolutely critical, and I can highly recommend Jeremy Lock to anyone looking to buy in the Greater Portland area.

Jeremy helped us find the perfect home for our family! We were moving from the Rockies to Maine, and Jeremy was vital to this undertaking. He was incredibly responsive and very willing to use technology to keep us in the know. He would regularly keep us posted as to what was out there that fit our wants, needs, and budget. If you are looking to purchase a home in Maine from away, I highly recommend Jeremy Lock as your buyers agent. Relocation to a new state is never easy. But, because Jeremy listened to our needs, he quickly located the perfect property for us, negating the need for multiple showings - which would have been impossible - given the current pandemic. He also went above and beyond when helping us set up and proxy our various home inspections. Finally, he was always available and responsive to our questions and concerns. Overall, an outstanding experience.

Jeremy was amazing throughout our entire house-purchasing process. We started out with very little knowledge on buying (being first time house buyers), he was incredibly helpful with quick responses and walked us through every detail. He gave us space to thoroughly think through every decision and was very patient with us. The entire experience was less stressful mostly in part because of how easy he made it for us. Jeremy was an excellent guide and partner in our real estate search. We moved into the area from out of state and he gave a firm idea of the character and feel of each town and neighborhood. He was also very helpful with knowledge of local schools, trails (even specific info on what ones were good for hiking, road biking, mountain biking, dog walking, etc.), beach access, restaurants, what areas are near the action but isolated from the noise, what areas are quiet and removed without being too far of a commute, etc. He really took his time with us and was patient as we figured out what we really needed. He helped us make up our mind by showing us different places specifically chosen to help inform our decision. Jeremy is very selective about the houses he picks and really does not to waste your time with anything that's not a good match. He's great to work with and has an easy going accommodating personality. My wife and I came in with completely different ideas of what we wanted and he helped get us into a house we're both really excited about. Great experience from beginning to end!

We recently relocated to Maine from California and engaged with Jeremy during our first recon visit 5 months before our arrival. He did a great job introducing us to the area and then stayed very connected until we arrived including providing video tours of homes we found online. Once we landed in Portland, Jeremy was on top of it. It felt like we had our own personal real estate agent. He was very responsive and available whenever we needed him to tour a house or bounce ideas off of. He has great insight into the Portland market and helped us find the perfect home. He was very professional but also makes the process fun and stress free. I would recommend him to anyone.
