During a global pandemic, I was able to accomplish my dream of buying my first home in Seattle, which I attribute to the expertise, service, and commitment of Jerry Linnane. Being a first time home buyer, the process can seem insurmountable. However, over the span of six months, Jerry carefully constructed listings for me to consider, patiently answered all of my questions, consistently made time to attend showings, scheduled housing inspections, and negotiated three offers. Jerry's responsiveness to emails, phone calls, and texts is a trait I really appreciated, and is a trait that should not be overlooked due to the fast pace of the market coupled with the desire to have as much time as possible to make a life changing decision. The home buying process can be stressful, (add in a pandemic/social distancing/wild fires), but Jerry's knowledge, care, and passion for his clients and his job are truly phenomenal and make for a wonderful home buying experience!

Jerry was just phenomenal to work with! As a first time homebuyer I was incredibly nervous about everything. He was very patient and responsive in answering my many, many questions and extremely thorough yet quick to act when the situation called for it. Jerry helped us search for and purchase our last home. He was GREAT to work with! A concern with working with a realtor is that they're going to push you into a home that you don't want, just to close the deal. My wife and I never felt that way with Jerry. If we asked for his opinion, we were sure to always get a straight-forward and honest answer. There were a couple of times where I felt my wife and I were trying to "sell ourselves" on a home that wasn't a great fit and Jerry did a great job at letting us talk it out, but also bringing up great discussion points that helped us realize it really wasn't a good fit. Jerry really was a fantastic realtor to work with. If we weren't so happy with our current house, I'd be excited to work with him again soon. However, I think we're going to stay in this house awhile!

Jerry met with us, guided us through the buying process and provided information on the market, getting pre-approved and improving our credit situation. We are new to this whole process and Jerry went above and beyond to equip us with knowledge about the buying process. Due to a change in circumstances we ended up renting instead of buying. At no point did Jerry ever pressure us to buy a home or become discouraged when finding out we were going to rent. He is transparent and honest. In fact, he gave us great advice on our rental situation. Although, Jerry didn't sell a home to us we felt he really cared about our goals. Jerry was incredible to work with. This was our first home purchase and he was very patient with us. He was adaptive to our changing criteria for a home and incredibly responsive. He understood why we retracted an offer on an initial home after it had a less than ideal inspection and was invaluable in guiding us through our negotiations. Although we weren't we often felt like we were Jerry's only clients. We can't recommend using him enough!

Last year, my wife and I purchased our first home in a very competitive area of Bellevue and we could not have done this without the Recce Home team especially Jerry. Our home buying process started off with a meeting with Jamie during which we talked about the type of property we were looking for, our budget, and areas we wanted to buy into. Jerry from the Reece team was our primary point of contact handling all the work. Once we identified the home we wanted, Jerry sprung into action. He got us into the home for a viewing within 72 hours of us letting him know what we wanted. After we indicated interest in moving forward, Jeremy got the all the negotiations and necessary legal and regulatory work going. Jerry devised and executed a strategy that saw us coming just under the budget which was a huge win. Additionally, we worked with a mortgage company that has a strong working relationship with the Reece Home team so a lot of discussions were done in a very collaborative manner. Overall, my wife and I love this home. Because of the professionalism of the Reece Home team, we went through the process with as little to no stress as one could possibly imagine when spending a very significant amount of money.

Jerry is a dependable buyers broker with real hustle. As soon as a new listing came up that we wanted to see, Jerry was there to show it. He probably showed us a dozen houses within two days of their listing. That kind of responsiveness was crucial in such a difficult market. At one house, the listing agent made a mistake with the lock timing, and we couldnt get in. Jerry troubleshooted, made several phone calls, and waited with us for nearly an hour until the listing agent could fix their mistake. He was very pleasant to talk with and calmed our nerves on multiple occasions. Jerry brought us the keys to our new house and made us feel special on our move-in day. He helped us take photos and gave us a nice gift from the Reece Homes Team. We felt like we got to know him on a personal level, and would not hesitate to work with him again.

Jerry contacted me after I submitted my interest in a home on Zillow and he gathered information about our home search right away. He set up an automated search for us that sent emails for houses in our criteria that were just put on the market. I was living 6hrs away from the market (30min north of Seattle) so this was a challenge with how quick things moved in the area to be able to view places and quickly put an offer in. Jerry was very organized and once I had a handful of homes I was interested in he set up a weekend for me to come view them. We hit all residences in an orderly fashion and he was very attentive to answer any questions or find out answers from the sellers. We ended up putting an offer in which got accepted. I was not expecting this on the first try in this hot market. But Jerry gave very good advice on how to forumulate our offer so that it was attractive. This home had a very quick close time (25 days) and Jerry and his team were on the ball with everything. Couldn't have been happier with the experience and guidance that Jerry provided. I didn't have experience buying a home in this type of environment and Jerry offered thoughts and advice very tactfully. I recommend to anyone looking in the north Seattle/Everett area to ask for Jerry.
