Jill Madlem

So we hired Jill based on her years of service to the community. It proves that alone means nothing. We ended up firing her in the midst of a deal trying to sell our home in less than a month. Unfortunately this all happened during the coronavirus pandemic which was equally troubling. From our experience, we not only had to terminate her for failing to disclose a very important piece of information to us on a counter offer contingency, but we felt she was not working in our best interests with her repeated pressure to get that specific deal done. We also had to question her transparency and ethics related to the deal as well and who she was actually representing. Afterwards, she offered no apology and not once did she take any responsibility for anything. She just had her husband come and pick up her yard sign. It was as pathetic as it gets in our opinion. Her smug and arrogant broker was even worse to deal with on the phone but that is another story in itself with Forrest Barbee. Berkshire Hathaway will never be considered to represent us again with any real estate transactions ever again. In my opinion, you are just a number to these people and these agents know the market is about to tank and they will do what they can to hurry a sale through even if it may not be in your best interests. Watch your back and choose these professionals wisely is my best advice to newbies looking.
