I have had the pleasure of using Jim Geracie and his team for my past three real estate transactions (2 buying & 1 selling). To say they performed exceptionally well is an understatement. When I sold my house in Wauwatosa, WI a few years ago I anticipated a lengthy sale as the market was a little cold and the house had a foot print only a mother could love....long story short....they had it under contract for sale in 4 days at 98% of my asking price. While securing a seller quickly was great....what really blew me away was Jim's dedication POST-closing on the duplex he helped me line up after I sold the Wauwatosa house. About a week after I closed on the duplex in Greenfield, I had a leak from the Attic AC/Furnace unit that ruined drywall, trim, molding and paint in 4 rooms that spanned both my unit and my tenants. When Jim gave me a buzz a week or two after closing to see how things were going...I mentioned the damage/recent events and was surprised at how thoroughly upset he was. Long story short, Jim took care of the issue on his own accord, reaching out to the seller (whom is a local flipper) and leveraged his professional reputation to get the seller to come in and fully repair not only the furnace/AC but all damage at no cost....I had estimates for the work compiled at the time and was looking at roughly $5,000 worth of repairs needing to be made. To have Jim go the extra mile personally and get involved above and beyond the scope of his duties even AFTER having already been paid, spoke volumes. He is not only a consummate professional but more importantly a man of great character.I'm confident in stating you wont find a better realtor than Jim in the Midwest. When Mom decided to move into an independent living facility, we had to get some quick help selling her home of 23 years in Wauwatosa. Friends recommended someone they knew who handled home sales as a side line, but we did some on-line research and found that we had better go to someone who sells homes every day, and lots of them. We quickly found that Jim Geracie and his wonderful Realty Executives team of home selling experts met this criteria, and after one meeting with Jim, we knew that Jim was the right guy to get the job done fast and right. Jim's wife Jill helped us prep and stage the house, found movers to rearrange furniture, and even provided color coordinated table settings for the kitchen table.
