Joanne Mattern

My wife and I were introduced by a friend of ours who was a former client of Joanne's. Our friend gave raving reviews of their experience working with Joanne so we decided to give her a shot. We called Joanne and mentioned that we would casually start looking at homes in the Denver area. admittedly, we had no idea what we wanted, why, and what was specifically important to us. We had never bought a home before, we're both new to downtown Denver, and well, we were total noobs. Joanne asked thoughtful questions and got to know us. Importantly, she took the time to get to know why we wanted what we did and took note of all the things (literally everything) that we'd mention as we walked through homes, in order to get a perfect understanding of what "dream home" might be if it came on the market. Joanne would text, call, and email us right back when we had a question. I'm talking about seconds after we reached out, not even minutes. It was the type of service we've never experienced before, and I'm talking ANY industry. She helped us navigate through every aspect of buying a home, from the fair market value of it, to the location's proximity to busy streets, to the prospect of a resale in the future, to the presence of Radon, to LITERALLY everything you can think of. She was consistent, timely, pleasant, and friendly, and through the 2 months that my wife and I couldn't make up our minds, Joanne NEVER (not once) made us feel like we were an inconvenience. e.g. Sunday at 9:47 am: "Hey Joanne, it's Josh and Silvana (again). We found 8 homes that we'd be interested in checking out and I know it's a Sunday morning and it's beautiful outside, so no worries if you're out and about today. Anytime this week would be great." Sunday at 9:51 am: "Good morning you two! Let's do it! The house on Wright Street has an offer on it, but let's go check it out anyway since it looks like something we might want to bid on as well, but just a heads up. I'll send an email with a schedule once I confirm with the agent that we can get into each place today. brb." Sunday at 9:58 am: "How does 11:00 am at this address work to start? You have an email of the schedule and addresses too." This type of interaction was typical throughout the process. Long story short, we consider Joanne a friend at this point and we found a house we love, put in an offer, and are now 1st-time homeowners. We can't say enough great things about our experience and we genuinely believe we have the best realtor on the planet.
