Jodi made the entire process of buying a condo exponentially more manageable. I am a graduate student who is new to the area and was looking to move out of student housing (with my parents help). I didn't have a lot of time or a car, and I had no familiarity with the buying process. Jodi, after carefully noting what my parents and I were searching for, made thoughtful suggestions (including the place that my parents ended up buying), picked me up from my office and drove me to open houses, researched the properties versus recent sales to determine if they were fairly priced, and visited open houses that I could not attend. At all open houses, she took careful notes and sent them to both my parents and me, in case I did not remember each property exactly. She was patient throughout the process (it took 3 months to find the right place) and minimized the stress involved. Once we found a place, she coordinated all of the inspections, and even after the process was done, she checked in multiple times. I highly recommend Jodi Deranja if you are looking to buy a home.

Purchasing a condo from out of state can be a daunting experience, but Jodi's general real estate knowledge, skills, and warmth made it a smooth one. After an initial conversation during which we described what we were looking for, Jodi took the lead. She showed our graduate student son multiple properties (even giving him rides if necessary) and helped him evaluate which properties would best suit his needs. Ultimately, she helped us decide which unit to bid on and advised us on the bidding process, based on her recent experiences. Jodi's help went beyond securing an accepted offer. Since we are in MA, she arranged for the home inspection, as well as the estimates for repairs deemed necessary from the inspection. When the deal finally closed, Jodi's involvement didn't end. She offered our son suggestions to ease the move into his first apartment and provided us with phone numbers of helpful service people in the area. We highly recommend Jodi and will certainly be contacting her again when it's time to sell.

When I'm back from vacation, everything is all set and ready to move forward. The house buying prcoess went very smoothly for both parties. Jodi has become a good friend to us, not just a realtor. My family actually has plan to upgrade to a better house in several years, and I will definitely trust Jodi not only to locate a new house for us, but also to sell our house as well.
