- Joel listed and sold my home
We do not live in Georgia anymore but owned a house there and was in search of a Real Estate Agent to sell our house. During our search for a realtor in Georgia we contacted six agents all of whom did not meet our requirements. Then we talked with Joel and we automatically knew this was our agent. Although we were immensely impressed by his vast knowledge as a realtor, his words were that of an honest person, a person we felt that we could trust to handle the sale of our home. Joel was always honest with us. He was always available and we knew that he truly had our best interest at heart. Joel was always responsive and patient, even on weekends and late evenings. He would say "you can contact me at anytime". Joel immediately went to work, explaining the entire process to us, then he gathered the Athy team (he has an amazing team that get things done). Based on Joel's advice we made some minor renovations to the home. A week after the renovations were completed, Joel held the open house and as a result of his hard work and drive to sell our home, we received three offers all of which were more than we had expected. We couldn't recommend him enough for anyone looking for some peace of mind when selling a home! Joel Athy was truly a God send. Thank you Joel!!

I have owned my home for about 12 years, and in that time period, I have tried to sell on 3 different occasions. My overall experience with other Realtors has been sub par, which has prevented me from selling. Based on a referral, I elected to partner with Joel Athy and Associates to sell my home recently. From the onset of the partnership, Joel was very professional, honest, and detailed about the process. My home was listed on 6/16/2017, and I had my first offer on 6/19, which I declined, but had a 2nd offer the next day on 6/20, which I accepted. Joel was able to not only sell my home for my full asking price, but by the time I closed, I actually was able to sell it for $5k more. Throughout the process, Joel maintained detailed communication with me, without me having to ask for follow ups. Additionally, Joel was extremely knowledgeable regarding the process, and for anything that I needed for my home to be ready for close, he had the network and team available for what I needed. From this point forward, Joel and Associates will be my Realtor of choice and will be my referral source for my network. Joel Athy and Associates are a one-stop shop for all of your Realtor needs, and I highly recommend them!
