John Lawrence

John Lawrence’s family has lived in the Oak Park-River Forest community for almost 100 years. Born and raised here, John left to attend University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but returned to launch his career and start his own family. Initially, John worked as a middle school special education teacher and basketball coach in the River Forest Public School District. While he loved working with students for over a decade, he became interested in residential real estate and made a change. After working for a local office a few years, John was eager to start his own office, Nickel Real Estate Group, in 2006.
