Jon is an incredible realtor - hands down! At the start, my partner and I had no idea how to enter the red-hot Bay Area housing market as first time homebuyers. Within the first few weeks, we quickly realized that DIY Zillow searches and barebones real estate advise weren’t going to set us up for success in such a unique and competitive region. Our first meeting with Jon, set up by a mutual friend, put our anxieties at ease as Jon walked us through the entire process end-to-end - deeply explaining the complexities of disclosures, mortgage financing, contingencies, and market appraisals (oh my!). We could tell instantly that we were in great hands. But his knowledge didn’t stop there. At each house we visited (and there were many), Jon came prepared with key insights about the home that we never would’ve considered had we toured with basic MLS data. And when the time came that our offer was accepted, Jon was there for a super-smooth close - even answering our late night questions extremely promptly. We never felt out of the lurch, and felt entirely confident in our purchase. He’s even helped us post-purchase with starter home advise which has gotten us off on the right foot. We forget how exactly we connected with Jon, but were sure glad we did! We started off with a video conference and talked for about 3 hours. It was our first time buying a home, so we had a lot of questions! Afterwards, Jon would present us with homes hed find that fulfilled our must have, but we were told we can look up homes on Zillow and Redfin. While we were house touring in a new development community, we were surprised that others didnt have their realtor with them. In fact, one of the community realtors showing the homes told us hes a keeper. The sad truth is not a lot of realtors will go above and beyond, and during COVID times, a lot of realtors have become complacent and wont go on the initial house hunts with their clients. Jon was on top of things. All paperwork was promptly sent to us for our signing. Jon still communicats with us to see how were doing after closing and during our move-in. Hes a great guy and a great realtor, and we couldnt have asked for a better realtor!
