Joe McShane and I met in 2013 when I first moved to San Diego, I have just moved to town from San Francisco and I was not sure exactly where I wanted to live. Joe had mentioned that renting was a great way for me to get my feet wet in San Diego and really take my time to see where I wanted to actually buy a home. I ended up moving to PB, then to Mission Hills and then to Carmel Valley where I decided to buy a home. Carmel Valley is a beautiful place to call home and the home prices are reasonable enough that I felt good about spending a little more to get the home of my dreams. We looked at at least two dozen homes and started writing offers. The market had really started to heat up and the whole process took months, as the prices were rising faster than we could hardly keep up. I want to convey that I'm not a typical home buyer/seller - I'm very particular and I know what I want and I'm not afraid to go after it when I find the one home ! Joe is an excellent negotiator, and I was able to see first hand his abilities as we put our home purchase in escrow. I think alot of people take for granted that there are a ton of details in a home transaction. Joe was patient and explained all the paperwork and answered all of my questions, helping to put my mind at ease. I refer Joe to all of my coworkers and friends. Joe knows the in's and out's of a home sale transaction and all of the referrals I have given to Joe have all been very pleased with his level of honesty, professionalism and customer service. I don't write a lot of reviews but when I realized Joe was such an asset to his industry I knew I needed to take a minute and let the rest of SD know ! Joe is 5 Stars !!
