- Joshua helped me buy a home
Do not sign with Joshua Chopas. He was our buying agent and we did all of the work to find our home. Due to circumstances, we, the buyers, had to pay Joshua his commission. We tried to negotiate his fee down from 3% since we were the ones that were having to pay him. He threatened to take us to court numerous times if we did not pay him his full three percent. He also threatened to take us to court if we tried to get out of the contract with him earlier than the six months that the contract stated. Joshua then failed to extend the due diligence period which may have hurt our negotiations with the sellers. Do not sign with Joshua. He will put his need for money over your well being.
