Mimi showed us houses for months. Our wish list included a basement, oversized garage, and another very limiting feature. Only 20% of homes in the community we wanted had basements.One day a listing came up that fit, but the pictures were not helpful. The place had been vacant, was overgrown, and priced to reflect it. Her Majesty (My wife) was on grandson duty in Madison, and we couldnt get there that day. Mimi went to the house, took better pictures, and called with a description. It was a surprise because we hadnt asked.One offer had been made, but she was able to get us in the next morning.
