Karen Troester

Karen was the property manager for the apartment I just moved out of and I couldn´t be happier that I won´t have to deal with her again. Her generally attitude is that she´s too good for you and that everything she´s doing is a favor and you should be incredibly grateful. More importantly, she is bad at her job. Whenever we would notify her of needed maintenance, at least a week would pass before anything would happen. We were supposed to be supplied with a lawn mower and it was left for us under the porch exposed to rain so that it wouldn´t start. When we told her, she responded that it was our responsibility to fix the lawn mower (even though we hadn´t been supplied with a working one in the first place). Upon moving out, we met her to inspect the apartment and the moment we walked in the door she started yelling at us about the tiniest things (like the food in the freezer we had left with the intent to pick it up that day). She told us she couldn´t possibly inspect the place under the conditions and left. Now she´s telling us we´re responsible for a dent in the freezer door that was there when we moved in. Stay away!

Karen is so snooty and condescending. She acts like the world revolves around you and will judge you as if you are nothing. She's very inconsiderate of your needs and what you're looking for and very impatient. She acts like she is a above you. You could be a well-educated millionaire but she will treat you like you are dirt. My husband and I decided not to buy a house we really like because her attitude completely turned us off.
